Welcoming Darcie: A Star Addition for Ayrshire Business Week

We were delighted to welcome S6 Marr College pupil Darcie who joined our team for Ayrshire Business Week.
Darcie was a fantastic addition, supporting our DYW and Chamber Education Team throughout the week by attending daily events, assisting with event preparation and helping with a range of administrative tasks. In particular, she made a great contribution at DYW Ayrshire’s Leadership Lunch, welcoming 100+ guests and managing name badges.
Pictured is Darcie and DYW Project Lead, Jenna Frew, attending the B2B Exhibition at the Park Hotel. Thank you to Darcie for all her hard work.
Darcie left her own feedback, stating:
“My work experience at the Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce was a fantastic opportunity. Over the week, I got to attend several events, including the Leadership Lunch at the Brig o’ Doon hotel, which gave me great insight into local business networking and leadership. I also helped in the office, helping with event preparation and various administrative tasks. The team was welcoming, supportive and very friendly to me. I really enjoyed learning how the Chamber supports businesses across Ayrshire. Overall, it was a valuable and enjoyable work experience that gave me a better understanding of the professional workplace.”
