DYW Team - Regional Lead
Responsible for the DYW team whose role is to engage employers in education and highlight the benefits of employing a young person. We ensure young people get access to employers through education to prepare them for the world of work and experience high quality work placements. Keen to hear from employers on experiences of working with young people, encouraging others to consider taking on a young person and to engage with education.

DYW Team - Employer Engagement Officer
Tasked with engaging employers with education and highlighting the benefits of employing a young person. We ensure young people get access to employers through education to prepare them for the world of work and experience high quality work placements. Keen to hear from employers on experiences of working with young people, encouraging others to consider taking on a young person and to engage with education.
Brooke McTaggart
DYW Team - Communications & Marketing Officer
Part of Marketing and Communications team. Responsible for social media content, encouraging employers to engage with education and champion benefits of employing a young person. Provides event support.
WIDER EDUCATION TEAM
Ayrshire Chamber's Education Team
DYW Ayrshire are part of a wider Education Team through our host organisation, Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce. Ayrshire Chamber have held the contract with North Ayrshire Council and South Ayrshire Council for 18 years to facilitate the school engagement and school work experience programmes.

DYW Ambassadors
Steering Group
Each Regional Group is accountable to a Board or Steering Group. In Ayrshire, it is referred to as our Steering Group. Hosted by the Chair, Mike Stewart, the Group meet once per quarter. Meetings are usually held in person in the Ayrshire Chamber Board Room with an option to join virtually if required. The Steering Group should primarily consist of employers from the private sector along with our public sector partners.
