The Future of Rail

On Wednesday 20th May, the DYW Team attended the Future of Rail event at Rench Farm, Drumlog, alongside schools from across Ayrshire for an inspiring and engaging day.

Pupils had the opportunity to explore the rail industry and discover the innovation driving this multi-million pound sector. Hosted by The QTS Group, one of the UK’s leading rail contractors, the event highlighted the wide range of career pathways and opportunities available to young people within the industry.

Pupils also had the chance to see some of the cutting-edge machinery used across the rail sector and hear directly from young people already involved in the industry, sharing their experiences and the exciting opportunities a career in rail can offer.
