Our Scotland’s Biggest Parents’ Events are a series of four broadcasts which ran throughout the summer, which allowed parents, carers and guardians to hear about the things that matter to them right now. The events provided parents and carers with information about options and next steps for young people, including where they can go to make informed judgements to support their young person’s next steps.

EVENT 2 – VOCATIONAL PATHWAYS TO INDUSTRY
Our ‘Vocational Pathways to Industry’ event premiered on Tuesday 21st July and provided an opportunity to find out more about the vocational education opportunities within Scotland’s college sector as well the benefits of Foundation, Modern and Graduate Apprenticeships.
EVENT 3 – #NOWRONGPATH TO INDUSTRY
Our #NoWrongPath to Industry event premiered on Tuesday 4th August which featured the First Minister, Nicola Sturgeon, as well as SQA, Young Scot, employers and young people.
