“At Jackton Moor, we are passionate about developing the next generation of talent, which is why we recently took part in a school work placement programme with Ayrshire Chamber of Commerce.  This initiative gave Prestwick Academy, student, Jamie the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in our industry while providing us with fresh perspectives and insights.  

Engaging with young people through work placements benefits our business in many ways.  It allows us to showcase career opportunities with our company, inspire future professionals and identify talented individuals early on. In fact, our own Business Development Manager, Barry McAlear, begin his career through a similar young placement programme.  His journey highlights the real impact that early work experience can have, shaping careers and opening doors to long-term success.  

We are committed to providing career pathways for school leavers and equipping them with the skills and experience needed to thrive in the workplace.  This programme has reinforced our belief in the value of investing in young talent, and we look forward to welcoming more students in the future.
